Ingredients

½ cup goji berries

1-2 scotch bonnet peppers, stems and seeds removed

¼ cup boiling water

1 clove garlic

Juice and zest of 1 lime

2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar

1 Tbsp raw honey

2 tsp sea salt

Method

In a small bowl, cover goji berries with boiling water. Let sit for 20 minutes.

Add soaked goji berries (including remaining liquid) and all the rest of the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.

Transfer to a jar or bottle and store in the fridge. Makes about ¾ cup of hot sauce. May also be frozen in batches for later use.
